Growing up, I only knew three Russian words, all of which I learned from an old sitcom. Since then, I have lived in Ukraine and Latvia, earned a bachelor's degree in Russian, and developed a passion for one of the most remarkable languages in the world. One of my favorite ways to learn is to make jokes in Russian. Like you, I started from ground zero, and I know what it takes to master a language.
